Economist Jean Dreze, two others detained, later released in Jharkhand -Jaideep Deogharia

RANCHI: Right to Food activist Jean Dreze and two others were released after being detained on Thursday in Jharkhand for allegedly organising a meeting without permission, police said.

Dreze, along with his associates Vivek and Anuj, was holding a public meeting under Bishunpura police station of Garhwa district on Thursday morning. Subsequently, Jean was asked to sign a bond at the police station.
