GORAKHPUR: 30 children died at Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College in Gorakhpur in past 48 hours (from Wednesday midnight to Friday midnight). Of these, 15 deaths took place in Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and 15 in paediatrics intensive care unit (PICU) in the last 48 hours.
On Thursday, 25 patients were admitted to NICU while 66 children were admitted to PICU.
In past 24 hours (from Thursday midnight to Friday midnight) 10 children were admitted and 8 died in NICU while 36 children were admitted to PICU and 10 died.
