According to the police, K. Bheem Rao, a 42-year-old Kolam farmer from Sadalpur in Bela mandal, consumed poison in his field on Wednesday night perturbed over failure of the crop in his four acres of land.
He is reported to have incurred a debt of Rs. 1 lakh.
He died while under treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Adilabad.
N. Rajanna, 55, of Venunagar in Lakkaram of Utnoor mandal, consumed poison at his residence and died at Utnoor hospital.
He was aghast as the crop failed in the 10 acres of land obtained on lease.
