The Tatas moved Supreme Court on Tuesday challenging the Calcutta high court refusing to stay distribution of land to owners at Singur.
The apex court will hear the petition on Wednesday.
The Calcutta high court had on Monday refused to pass an interim stay on the Tata Motors Limited plea expressing fears that the state government would start distributing their land in Singur to the farmers.
