The tribunal was organised to study the implementation of various programmes and its implementation at the grassroots level by the state government.Around 200 women participated in the tribunal and pointed out that implementation of various schemes is not properly done and hence rural people fail to get benefits of development in the rest of the country.
The first day of the tribunal focused on health issues faced by women in rural Gujarat and lack of infrastructure due to which people fail to get emergency help on time.
Moreover, the women who are social activists and elected members of gram panchayat also pointed out that hospitals lack the basic facility and infrastructure.
